I'm a New York-born Californian, dog lover, traveling homebody, photographer and filmmaker. I studied Political Science and Film at the University of Wisconsin, where I also had my first job with cameras - filming graduate level engineering lectures. In 2009, I started shooting and editing short digital videos as an intern for The New York Times. I spent the next several years working with and learning from an amazing production community in New York, including companies like Bloomberg, ABC and American Eagle. Oakland is home now, where I work as a freelance filmmaker and produce independent documentaries with Red Bridge Productions. My work continues to be a mix of documentary and commercial projects, including recent collaborations with Discovery, Netflix and several Bay Area non-profits. My favorite projects tell meaningful, inspiring stories and connect me and the audience with a world outside our own.
