I'm a New York-born Californian, traveling homebody, photographer and filmmaker. I love slow movies, basketball and dim sum.  I studied Political Science and Film at the University of Wisconsin, where I also had my first job with cameras.  In 2009, I started shooting and editing short videos as an intern for The New York Times.  I spent the next several years working with and learning from an amazing production community in New York, collaborating on documentary projects with companies like Bloomberg and ABC and commercial work with American Eagle and Sprite.  In 2015, Oakland became home.  Today, I split my time between freelancing and producing independent documentaries with Red Bridge Productions.  New projects never fail to excite and I'm particularly interested in stories about our natural world and the changing relationship we have with it.
